Speech therapy
The goal of speech therapy is the prevention, evaluation and diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of speech disorders.
Specialty services
Specialized home services are provided by qualified staff who have been trained and have worked in home intervention programs.
How we serve
The diagnosis of specific speech disorders is a complex process and requires the cooperation of an interdisciplinary team that will be able to make a differential diagnosis by analyzing the data they have collected.
- A series of tests for the diagnostic evaluation follows
- Refers to specialists in other specialties, such as doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and/or special educators
- It is necessary to work with the whole interdisciplinary team to gather information from other areas of development and what impact the problem has on the child's environment
- Informs family (start speech therapy program, re-evaluation)
- Organizes speech therapy sessions with personalized programs
- Works with parents/caregivers to complete treatment program and transfer skills outside of the therapeutic setting
- Reassess and monitor the disorder
- It tries to prevent malfunctions from getting worse
